Arikilodge - Waikanae

The children's playground was a hit with our little ones and kept them entertained for hours. The laundry facilities were also a lifesaver, allowing us to easily keep up with all the dirty clothes. The convenience of having these amenities on-site made our family vacation so much more enjoyable.

My wife says that having a small convenience store or grocery shop within walking distance would have been a great addition for families with children.

The motel provided everything we needed during our city break. the well-appointed room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the excellent facilities offered, including a small swimming pool, a lovely shaded barbecue area, and a children's playground. the location was quiet and within walking distance to the shops and a train station, making it very practical.

The layout of the room was a little odd as the bathroom and kitchen were combined. this was not really a big deal as we were not there to cook.

The location was really convenient with two supermarkets right around the corner and a great Asian restaurant nearby. There were also several restaurants and bars within walking distance. the room had all the necessary facilities for a short stay including coffee and plenty of towels.

The bathroom was quite small and cramped, making it difficult to move around.

Jaw-droppingly clean place with mind-blowing location and unbelievable amenities including free Wi-Fi, parking, seasonal outdoor pool, laundry, flat-screen TV, electric kettle. Super friendly staff and a fantastic children's play area. No pets allowed, but non-smoking rooms available.

Convenient location near shops and restaurants, verysuper clean and cozy, friendly staff, nice pool.

For us it was ideal.

The place was nice and cozy, and it was perfect that we were able to check in late and pay in cash. We enjoyed the fact that the staff was very accommodating - they even heated up the room before we got there so it was warm for the kids. The hotel had everything we needed and more than what we expected in terms of facilities. The location was great, close to the shops and had easy access to transportation. our Easter holiday was enjoyable.

The bathroom needed more attention. The sink was clogged, and the taps were not working properly, making it challenging to use.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. the value for money was outstanding. Not only was the room rate affordable, but the room itself was well-equipped with a full blown kitchen and all facilities well catered for. Secondly, the location of the hotel was very convenient, being situated right by local shops, making it easy to explore the area. Lastly, the staff were exceptional - very friendly and easy going, providing outstanding service throughout my stay.

All was more than okay, there was really nothing I can think of that could be improved.

My stay at this hotel was a delightful surprise. The spacious family unit exceeded my expectations with its comfortable and well-equipped amenities. The beds and pillows were top-notch, ensuring a restful sleep. The spotless cleanliness of the hotel added to the overall appeal. Additionally, the location, right in the heart of town, offered easy access to shops and supermarkets, making it incredibly convenient.

No improvements needed – everything was just perfect.
